Hello, my name is Bree, and I am originally from Kahlotus, Washington. I have two sisters, one brother, and my mom and dad, who still reside in Washington State. I currently live in Burns, Colorado, with my husband and daughter.
In 2014 I decided to act on my urge to travel the world and became a flight attendant for a major airline. While traveling, I also made time to finish my marketing degree, and graduated from Concordia University-Saint Paul, May 2020.
During my last year of school, I had to create business and marketing plans. I used The Bison Bar as my business that I based all my assignments on. The assignments sparked an interest in me, and I decided that the Western Slope and the Vail Valley of Colorado could benefit from something like it. Knowing Rachel has bartending experience, I asked her what she thought about the business idea, and she was totally on board and excited. Here we are looking forward to creating a unique bar experience for your event! Cheers!!
Hey there!! My name is Rachel Miles, I grew up in Louisville, CO and I have always been known for being the life of the party! I decided to venture on and go to Colorado Mesa University to study Business and that is where I met my husband! We have two amazing kids and we own a construction company. Being a stay at home mom, I decided to take on a part-time bartending job at the Country Club! (Sometimes you just need a little ME time!) It has been so much fun being able to learn and grow into a confident bartender, and you just cant go wrong with making an amazing cocktail!
Business has always been a passion of mine. In College I spent 3 months in San Francisco completing an internship where I learned the ins and out of sales and private contracting! When Bree mentioned her class project, it sparked a huge interest and I said “No really, lets do it!” Here we are today and WE DID IT! I am so excited to see where our business takes us, and working at the Country Club has really shown me how to execute a perfect party. Whether it be a Wedding, Bridal Shower, Birthday or Barbeque we can, and will make your vision come true
Let’s talk about our super cute vintage two-horse trailer. It has been bringing the herd, literally, since 1976! The trailer started its life on a hobby farm with lots of different animals. The previous owners had animals such as miniature horses, llamas, and long-haired angora rabbits. From fairs and shows to hauling for the neighbors, this trailer has brought the party. When Bree’s family got their hands on it, it turned into a trailer to haul show animals to the fair and hauling Bree’s sister and her rope horse to some local roping’s. Almost a decade later, the trailer has made the trip from Washington to Colorado to be renovated into a mobile bar.
We renovated the trailer in 2020 and started renting out our trailer, October 2020. The renovation included stripping the trailer down, sandblasting, sanitizing, and then building it back up with a bar top, shelves, kegerators, a sink, and a new paint job. Our bar has tin and wooden features, making it rustic with a western twist. We are following all regulations and have created a sanitary and safe mobile service. We have renovated the bar to fit every event and theme. We do allow events to decorate our bar with permission, and without needing to drill any holes. We want to make your occasion perfect, and with this trailer, we can do just that.
